Description
We are looking for a Café Manager to organize daily operations and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Café Manager responsibilities include scheduling shifts for baristas and wait staff, monitoring daily expenses and revenues and ordering supplies like coffee, milk and snacks, as needed. To be successful in this role you should have more than 5 years of work experience in coffee shops or similar services setting. Also, you should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement and turn our 2nd Cup St Vital into a favorite local spot.
Duties
Responsibilities Tasks Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Conduct performance reviews Cost products and services Organize and maintain inventory Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities Develop, implement and analyze budgets Participate in marketing plans and implementation Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance Leading/instructing individuals Address customers' complaints or concerns Recruit, train and supervise staff Budgetary responsibility $100,001 - $500,000 Supervision 5-10 people Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Overtime required Personal suitability Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Reliability
