Manitoba Start connects business to a world-class workforce and is the leading provider of career services for newcomers to the Province. We address employers’ recruitment needs by matching the unique skill sets of qualified, job ready newcomers with employers’ specific job requirements. We are a not-for-profit organization with charitable status and receive core funding from Advanced Education, Skills and Immigration. All newcomer and staffing services are offered at no charge.
Our Work with Newcomers
Each year, over 6,000 newcomers from more than 120 countries visit Manitoba Start to connect to settlement, orientation, language, and employment services. The majority of newcomers are internationally educated professionals and skilled workers. We provide services to help newcomers find sustainable employment:

Since 2010, we have served over 30,000 new immigrants to Manitoba.
