Capital K Distillery is a family-owned craft distillery located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Established in 2015, we proudly offer exceptional handcrafted spirits using the best locally grown grains. We are hiring a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to fulfill our daily production demands.
Duties
- Schedule distribution of finished products and determine methods of shipment
- Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
- Maintain internal record-keeping system
- Pack goods to be shipped and unpack goods received
- Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
- Oversee loading and unloading of goods
- Operate warehouse equipment
- Maintain work area clean and organized
- Supervise material handlers and packers
Qualifications
- Basic math skills for counting and measuring inventory
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and order management systems is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and keep track of shipments
