Description
Kazoku Restaurant, located at 2579 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, MB is seeking to hire 1 full-time permanent Sushi Chef for a shift, day and/or evening. $18.50 per hour for 35 hours/week Candidates must be reliable and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook all types of sushi including nigiri, maki, futomaki, sashimi, and rolls according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure the quality and presentation of sushi are consistent and meet customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and timely service.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking of ingredients.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and special requests.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year full-time or 2-year part-time previous experience in commercial food preparation. Candidates must have a training certificate in sushi preparation.
