Imperial Stucco Ltd. is a construction business based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. If you are a quick learner who has done stucco labouring in the past and would be willing to get on the wall, you will also be considered. Responsibilities: - Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth finish - Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer - Mix plaster ingredients according to specified ratios - Use hand tools and power tools to shape and smooth plaster surfaces - Repair cracks and holes in existing plaster - Follow blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate plaster application - Work collaboratively with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and painters, to complete projects Qualifications: - Proven experience as a plasterer or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of plastering techniques and materials - Proficiency in reading blueprints and following specifications - Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks - Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with other professionals on construction projects Skills: - Building and construction knowledge - Maintenance Person skills - Experience in construction painting - Blueprint reading proficiency - Carpentry skills for preparing surfaces before plastering - Caulking expertise for sealing gaps and joints - Drywall installation and repair abilities If you are a skilled plasterer looking for an opportunity to showcase your expertise, we invite you to apply for this position.
