Description
Kazoku Restaurant, located at 2579 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, MB is seeking to hire 2 full-time permanent Kitchen Helpers for a shift, day and/or evening. $15.50 per hour for 35 hours/week Candidates must have at least 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time experience in the food industry. Candidates must be reliable and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Duties will include:
- Wash, peel and cut vegetables
- Portion and wrap foods, package take-out food
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- Wash all dishes according to health regulations
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
- Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas
- Perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff
Qualifications
Candidates must have at least 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time experience in the food industry.
