TITLE: HOME SUPPORT WORKER (NOC 44101) # OF POSITIONS: 10 JOB TYPE: Permanent, Full-time (35 - 40 hours per week) WAGES: $15.00 - $22.00 LOCATION: 500 -191 Lombard Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3B 0Xl LANGUAGE: English, French (desirable) – language test results EDUCATION: Completion of post-secondary school diploma/degree in a related field WORK EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years of direct or related experience in the past five years SPECIFIC SKILLS: Provide supportive and companion care for individuals in a home or residential setting; provide assistance with daily living; personal care to clients such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing; plan and prepare meals and special diets; feed or assist in feeding clients; may perform routine health-related duties undern the supervision and guidance of a licensed nurse and/or health provider; may perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry; escort to medical appointments. AVAILABLE SHIFTS: Days, Evening, Night, Weekend shifts SECURITY AND SAFETY: Criminal Record Check, Medical Exam WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job.
