Cook (NOC 63200) Term: Permanent Work location: 177 Miniota road, Miniota, MB, Canada, R0M 1M0 Miniota Motor Inn is located in Miniota, Manitoba. The motel is bright, clean, and newly renovated. We offer Chinese and Canadian food, as well as accommodation, VLTS and beverages. The motel has become popular for those who attend Miniota’s sports events and family get-togethers. We updated large menu recently, includes many Chinese dishes as well as the ever-in-demand poutine, burgers, salads, the steak sandwich, fish and chips…. As we are getting more customers these days, we are looking for an experienced cook to ensure and maintain a smooth daily operation and high-quality dishes.
Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes
- Set up buffets
- Update menu and calculate the cost of dishes
- Maintain food and kitchen supplies inventory
- Train and supervise other trainee cooks and kitchen helpers
- Maintain kitchen operations
- Keep the cleanliness of kitchen and the worktable
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum 1years of cook experience required
- Asian restaurant experience is a plus
- A cook certificate is an asset
- Well organized
