Description
- Use of power tools. Performs various Physical duties as assigned.
- Effectively using equipment / tools / machinery depending on the job.
- Moving tools, equipment, or other material as directed by the supervisor.
- Confirm that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and square before screws are fastened.
- Moves, secures, fabricates, builds, loads, or unloads materials.
- Moves items from place to place, according to direction from the supervisor.
- Maintain production during busy schedule.
- Troubleshoot with your team to resolve any defect found in the fabrication process.
- Performs specialized tasks including tasks on an argon machine.
- Argon filling
- Attention to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety and production.
- Housekeeping to ensure safety in production.
- Maintain all safety standards.
- Packaging product for shipment
- Ensure that the quality control standards are met.
- Troubleshoot with your team to resolve any defect found in the fabrication process.
- Inspecting glass surfaces for imperfections.
- Inspecting sealant for imperfections.
- Report any defects directly to your supervisor.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in a manufacturing plant
- Completion of high school
- Ability to read labels, safety warning, and guidelines.
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
- Basic math is required for understanding the measuring and deducting process.
- Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers to ensure that all required parts for assembly are present and correct for the job.
- Must be fit and healthy to be able to stand or move for extended period.
