Arty’s Air Service is a family-owned and operated ag aviation company in operation since 1978 in Winkler, MB. In the past 46 years, Arty’s Air Service has grown from a single-plane operation to a multi-plane operation that now services across Western Canada with multiple bases in Alberta and Manitoba. All of our locations offer aerial application services, and our Winkler base provides customers with chemical retail service. Our goal is to provide exceptional service to all our customers and help them reach their agricultural goals. Arty’s Air Service is looking for a self-motivated individual to manage an aviation agricultural location in Ste Agathe, Manitoba. At this location, we work closely with ag retailers and farmers to organize and provide timely aerial application services.
Duties
Responsibilities include:
- Connect with retails and farms in the area and communicate services provided
- Manage daily operations
- Receive and create work orders in our system and dispatch plane(s) accordingly
- Mix and load aircraft as required
- Maintain house, yard, and facility
- Other duties as the job requires
Qualifications
We are looking for:
- High School education or equivalent
- Experience in the agricultural or aviation industry
- Experience managing people
- An individual who can work in a team environment and independently
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented with an ability to plan, schedule, and organize work
- A self-motivated, service-oriented mindset and willingness to take initiative
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift ticket (training will be provided)
