Duties
Responsibilities:
- Repair and restore a wide range of timepieces, including luxury watches, vintage pieces and modern designs.
- Diagnose issues with watch movements, complications, and mechanisms, using specialized tools and equipment.
- Disassemble clean, lubricate, and reassemble watch components with meticulous attention to detail.
- Replace worn or damaged parts, such as gears, springs, and jewels, to restore functionality and accuracy.
- Refinish watch cases and bracelets, including polishing, buffing, and refinishing to restore luster and appearance.
- Provide estimates for repair costs and timelines, communicating effectively with customers throughout the repair process.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Experience as a watchmaker with a strong understanding of mechanical watch movements is not required but is considered as an asset.
