Description
The primary responsibility of the Tow Truck Driver is to operate the tow trucks and performing routine maintenance on equipment, including but not limited to responding to service calls, providing roadside assistance, handling of documentation, emergency and safe driving, operating of basic loading and unloading equipment, checking fluid levels, and inspecting vehicles daily before/after driving them. Job duties include: Drive tow trucks safely and efficiently, load/unload vehicles from various equipment, ensuring cleanliness and operating condition of all equipment, maintaining safe driving habits while operating the vehicle, Communicate with dispatch, customers, and service providers in a professional and friendly attitude, Completion of documentation e.g. preparation of daily invoices and sending to customers/dispatch/accounting department.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school; Driver's License (Class 3/D); Air Brakes Endorsement Report Writing - Accident or incident reports; Trip reports; Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip); Driver logbook No Experience is needed, on-the-job training will be provided
