1. TITLE: NURSE AIDE OR HEALTH CARE AIDE (NOC 33102)
2. # OF POSITIONS: 10 
3. JOB TYPE: Permanent, Full-time (35 - 40 hours per week)
4. WAGES: $20.00 - $26.00
5. LOCATION: 500 -191 Lombard Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3B 0Xl
6. LANGUAGE: English, French (desirable) – language test results
7. EDUCATION: Completion of a Health Care Aide Certificate and/or post-secondary school diploma/degree in a related field
8. WORK EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years of direct or related experience in the past five years
9. SPECIFIC SKILLS: Provide individuals with assistance and support in activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, eating/feeding, medication and treatment management (under the supervision or guidance of a licensed nurse or health professional), meals, light housekeeping and laundry, and medical escorts. Settings include in-home, residential and hospital/institutional care.
10. AVAILABLE SHIFTS: Days, Evening, Night, Weekend shifts
11. SECURITY AND SAFETY: Criminal Record Check, Medical Exam
12. WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job
13. May be required to be immunized as a condition of employment
