1. TITLE: HOME SUPPORT WORKER (NOC 44101)
2. # OF POSITIONS: 10
3. JOB TYPE: Permanent, Full-time (35 - 40 hours per week)
4. WAGES: $15.50 - $22.00
5. LOCATION: 500 -191 Lombard Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3B 0Xl
6. LANGUAGE: English, French (desirable) – language test results
7. EDUCATION: Completion of post-secondary school diploma/degree in a related field
8. WORK EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years of direct or related experience in the past five years
9. SPECIFIC SKILLS: Provide supportive and companion care for individuals in a home or residential setting; provide assistance with daily living; personal care to clients such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing; plan and prepare meals and special diets; feed or assist in feeding clients; may perform routine health-related duties undern the supervision and guidance of a licensed nurse and/or health provider; may perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry; escort to medical appointments.
10. AVAILABLE SHIFTS:    Days, Evening, Night, Weekend shifts
11. SECURITY AND SAFETY:  Criminal Record Check, Medical Exam
12. WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job.  May be required to be immunized as a condition of employment
