8. Main Duties:
9. - Prepare estimates for materials, labor, and equipment based on analysis of blueprints and specifications.
10. - Conduct economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates to ensure project viability.
11. - Evaluate tenders, perform risk analysis, and generate forecasts to optimize project outcomes.
12. - Secure best bids from vendors and subcontractors through effective negotiation.
13. - Monitor project costs and prepare expenditure statements and forecasts regularly.
14. - Collaborate with engineers, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to adjust cost estimates and project changes.
15. - Coordinate groundworks projects and create construction progress schedules.
16. - Maintain up-to-date directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
17. - Develop strategies to meet work schedules and coordinate activities with subcontractors.
18. - Stay updated on safety codes and construction advancements.
19. Requirements:
20. - Minimum 3 years of experience as a qualified tradesperson in groundworks construction.
21. - Completion of secondary school.
22. - Proficient in English.
