Duties
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers upon their arrival at the store with a friendly demeanor.
- Confirm and determine the prices of items, services, and accurately compute the total amount owed using electronic cash registers or scanners.
- Process various forms of payment including cash, checks, credit cards, or automatic debits with precision.
- Wrap or bag purchased items for customers.
- Provide product details, service information, and promotional updates to customers as needed.
- Conduct end-of-shift reconciliations by calculating the total payments received and comparing them to total sales.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier is not required but considered as an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
