Description
Web Designer, or Website Designer, is responsible for creating a fully functional website for a client or organization. Their duties include creating appealing website designs, customizing the webpage as per the client’s specifications, and uploading the website onto a server.
Duties
- Confer with clients to identify requirements
- Consult with clients to develop and document Website requirements
- Design and integrate website related code
- Develop website architecture
- Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes and solutions meet business requirements
- Write, modify and test website related code
- Prepare mock-ups and storyboards
- Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions
- Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management and service delivery
- Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle
- JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
- Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality
