Description

We are seeking an experienced Baker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and decorating cakes and pastries.   Responsibilities:

  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays
  • Bake mixed dough and batters
  • Prepare special orders
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
  Requirements:
  • Two years’ experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or relevant role
  • Excellent baking and cake decorating skills
  • Knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredients
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
