Duties
Responsibilities:
- Craft and mend jewelry made of precious and semi-precious metals, including rings, brooches, pendants, bracelets, and lockets.
- Inspect, cut, sculpt, and refine precious and synthetic gemstones using optical tools, cutting disks, and polishing laps.
- Place precious and semi-precious stones into jewelry settings with precision, following provided specifications.
- Potentially oversee the work of other jewelers.
- Perform high-quality repairs and alterations on fine jewellery and watches.
- Inspect and assess jewellery items for damage or defects, providing accurate estimates for repair costs and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the safety and security of valuable materials and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and expertise.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Experience as a Jeweler, with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality workmanship is not required but is considered as an asset.
