TRUCK TRANSPORT/TRAILER MECHANIC Penner Oil has been in business for over 30 years as a wholesale distributor of petroleum products. The primary business of the company is sales and distribution of gasoline & diesel fuel and oil products in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and northwestern Ontario. Our customers are mostly rural, and range from service stations, bulk fuel dealers and farmers, to First Nation gasoline stations on outlying reserves as well as urban reserve stations. This is a great, diverse workplace with many long-term employees.
Duties
About the position: · Inspect a mostly fuel tank trailer fleet . B620 trailer experience an asset. · Provide routine and preventive maintenance and service equipment as needed · Diagnose trailers for causes of failures and repair in safe, efficient manner · Complete required paperwork, reporting and other documentation · Maintain organized and safe work area and shop tools
Qualifications
What you bring: · Experience working on trailers (tanker trailer experience an asset) · Class 5 license (class 1 or 3 is an asset) · Welding or fabrication experience · Capable of medium to heavy lifting · Take personal ownership of tasks and foster a team environment · Organized and able to prioritize multiple projects at once · A red seal as a Trailer mechanic or Truck Transport mechanic is preferred
