Description
We have a cool little factory that we manufacture and distribute our products from. About 70% of our product is manufactured by us. Our goal is to manufacture 95% ourselves. The reason to perform as much of the manufacturing process as we can - is to get the best quality product into people's hands. The main job description will involve dozens of different manufacturing, preparation, and assembly operations. On the job training will be provided. Everything we do can be taught and learnt - no previous experience needed. You will be encouraged to provide new and better methods and procedures to increase production rates, reduce employee workload and improve any and all aspects of the business. When we are working on a new product, we would include you in the development process. There will be repetitive tasks, so we arrange production to be batch based (not assembly line), so many different tasks will be performed each day to reduce repetition fatigue (we don't want you to be bored). We offer a flexible work schedule that you control (within reason), you can take time off with no explanation and minimal notice (we just need a text notification). We understand people's real lives require things to be done during traditional working hours and sometimes just taking a day off is what's needed for one's mental health. We will be growing, we are looking for someone that would like to come along for the ride that would like to do and be a part of what we are describing in this job description. A valid drivers license would be an asset. Depending on distance from home to work, a commuter benefit might be paid.
