Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Driver to operate commercial vehicles over long distances. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to safety and customer service. Duties

• Safely operate large commercial trucks for long-distance freight transportation
• Operate and drive staright and articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of Cargo
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• oversees condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes and brake adjustments.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams.
• drive as part of a two person team or convoy.
• Record cargo information hours of services, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations
• Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management
• Ensure proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, or freight transportation preferred
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy loads when necessary
• Good communication skills for coordination with dispatch and warehouse teams
• Must pass background checks and drug screening prior to employment.
