Job Description: Kim's Asian Restaurant is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you’ll play a key role in preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes from our Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese menu. - Prepare and cook a variety of Asian cuisine dishes to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure dishes are prepared efficiently and served consistently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Stay focused and perform well in a high-paced setting while balancing quality and speed.
- Assist with inventory management and help keep kitchen supplies stocked and organized.
- Support the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for cooking and a strong interest in Asian cuisine.
- Previous kitchen or line cook experience is preferred but not required – we’re willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the role.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
