Description
We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Child Care Provider to care for children in a private household setting in Killarney, Mb. The candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment while managing daily child care routines and light household duties related to the children.
Duties
- Supervise and care for children in the employer's home. - Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children. - Prepare meals and snacks for children according to prescribed guidelines. - Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading, and outdoor play to provide discipline and support for children's development. - Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to child care. - Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Qualifications
Completion of Secondary School (High School Diploma) or equivalent Minimum 6 months of childcare or household management experience Ability to communicate effectively in English Demonstrated ability to perform childcare duties independently in a private home environment Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and dedication to child safety and welfare First Aid Certification and CPR Training (or willingness to obtain)
