Description
Are you an engineering student looking to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing and product development? Join our team and work alongside experienced engineers to support design, testing, and process improvement projects. The hours for this position are Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
Duties
- Design Engineering Team Aid
- Carry out 3D printed parts production and 3D printer maintenance/upkeep
- Aid in the design, revision, and testing of 3D printed parts
- Aid in the testing and design of general production parts
- Create quick start guides for DASH Kit assembly
- Manufacturing Engineering Team Aid
- Aid in the design and build-up of welding and assembly fixtures
- Program Cobot Welders
- Aid in improving shop floor processes and layouts
- Create kitting drawings
- 3D printer assistant
- Assist the engineering team with print jobs, printer maintenance and project troubleshooting
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Candidates must be enrolled in an Engineering program at a recognized post-secondary institution.
