Delivery & Retail Representative (NOC 75201) Bliss Gourmet Baked Goods Inc is a Canadian food manufacturer producing cookies, shortbread, fruit cake and other baked goods for grocery stores, independent retailers and specialty food stores. One vacancy. Permanent, full-time employment, 35 hours per week. Start as soon as possible. Work language: English. On-the-road work in Winnipeg, Manitoba and surrounding areas, covering delivery routes, customer locations and retail store visits. There is no fixed local worksite. Employer headquarters: 541 Jarvis Ave, Winnipeg, MB R2W 3B2. The location category and postal code refer to the headquarters; the delivery territory extends throughout Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Guaranteed base wage: CAD 19.00-23.00 per hour, based on relevant experience. Performance bonuses are additional. Mileage/fuel allowance is provided separately.
Duties
Deliver baked goods to grocery stores, independent retailers and other customers in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Follow assigned delivery schedules, verify product quantities and delivery documents, and handle products carefully. Report and assist with returns, shortages, damaged goods and delivery issues. Load, unload and stock products. Visit retail stores to check inventory, replenish products, organize shelves and displays, and check packaging, labels and expiry dates. Maintain customer relationships and relay feedback, low inventory and sales opportunities to the sales team. Support new-account deliveries, product sampling, demonstrations and promotional activities as required. Maintain accurate delivery and mileage records.
Qualifications
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. English communication skills. Previous delivery, merchandising, retail, customer service or sales experience is preferred. Food distribution, grocery or CPG experience is an asset. Reliable and organized, with good customer communication and the ability to follow schedules and work independently. Able to lift, carry and stock products. Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation; willingness to drive and travel regularly within the assigned area.
