Job Description:
- Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
- Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and delivervarious items and products
- Professionalism in customer service
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Keep a record of items received and delivered
- Prepare, package and restock goods
- Load and unload goods
- Sort packages for delivery
- Follow directions and read map
- Use maps and other trip planning aids
- Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems
- Provide customer service
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Qualifications
License : Class 5/5F/G License (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles) Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
