We are looking for a skilled carpenter who will oversee preparation and completion of carpentry tasks on job sites. The Carpenter will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling materials for construction projects. Key duties include handling and organizing materials, preparing layouts, and interpreting blueprints. The ideal candidate will be skilled, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high-quality carpentry work in a timely manner.

Duties

-Plan, organize, and manage carpentry tasks for residential and commercial finish carpentry projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to client specifications. -Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine material requirements, dimensions, and project scope. -Install and assemble high-quality finish carpentry components, including flooring, baseboards, wall capping, hand railings, internal doors, window casings, entertainment units, and kitchen features, ensuring precision and craftsmanship. -Select, measure, cut, shape, and join materials such as wood, trim, and other finishes, ensuring materials are properly handled and organized for each project. -Adhere to safety protocols and building codes to ensure safe work practices and high-quality finishes, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. -Communicate effectively with clients to understand project needs. -Prepare and maintain work areas, ensuring all tools, equipment, and materials are ready for use. -Assist in estimating material and labor costs for projects, providing accurate quotes to ensure cost-effective solutions for clients. -Stay updated on new carpentry techniques, tools, and trends in finish carpentry to enhance skills and deliver top-notch results.

Qualifications

-Previous experience in carpentry is an advantage but not mandatory. -Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment is preferred. -Ability to follow instructions carefully and collaborate effectively within a team environment. -Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) and work in various outdoor conditions. -Strong skills in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials with precision. -Knowledge of safety standards and regulations on construction sites to maintain a secure work environment. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, designs, and technical drawings. -Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, precise work. -Willingness to continually learn new techniques and improve carpentry skills. -Good communication skills for interacting with clients, supervisors, and team members. -Capable of managing time effectively and handling multiple tasks on-site.
