Raykeen Auto Ltd is seeking a qualified Automobile Mechanic to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
Duties
Perform mechanical repairs, diagnostics, servicing, and maintenance of vehicles. Sell and install replacement parts, accessories, and tires. Carry out wheel alignment, suspension service, and balancing. Inspect, repair, and replace brake systems. Service climate control and air conditioning systems, including re-gassing. Conduct routine inspections of brakes, engines, and other systems. Repair or replace faulty vehicle components. Provide preventive maintenance such as tune-ups, oil changes, filter replacements, and battery checks. Conduct test drives to ensure vehicles meet road safety standards.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school is required. Completion of a program in automotive service or mechanical repair, or several years of work experience in the trade. Red Seal certification or provincial/territorial trade certification is an asset (Optional). Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
