JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Install, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and control systems. • Assist in designing and developing automation systems. • Support the assembly and wiring of CSA/UL certified control panels. • Interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. • Perform on-site installation and commissioning of systems. • Provide technical support during plant startup and after-sales service. • Collaborate with engineers and technicians for system integration. • Maintain documentation for configurations, tests, and maintenance. • Troubleshoot control and automation issues in-house and on-site. • Follow all safety procedures and industry standards. • Works with other employees, companies or external service providers or contractors. • Identifies additional chargeable opportunities including time and material, work, system extensions upgrades and service contact expansion. • Participates in job site final walk and/or final completion for systems to service turnover on assigned jobs. • Completes and submits written service reports covering all aspects of each assignment and activity. • Ensure all work adheres to the company safety rules/statutory regulations/customer requirements. Adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act at all times.
