What We Are Looking For: Mobile Tech Lab is seeking an experienced Advanced Electronics Technician / Technician Trainee to join our growing team for a full-time/part-time position at our above listed locations. Starting rate is $31 per hour with an advancement guide to earn more as you complete advancements. The right candiate must be able to work 30-40 hours per week at the Thompson, MB location.

Duties

Job Duties:

• Repair electronic devices as they are entered in the queue.
• Communicate with front desk staff on progress of repair tickets.
• Communicate with customers on progress of repair tickets.
• Offer our products and services to customers.
• Intake arriving stock and organize as needed.
• Maintain professional demeanour at work and tidy working space.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Knowledge of mobile devices, and other tech repair techniques.
• Motherboard repair and diagnosis: 2 years
• Electronic device schematics: 2 years
• Smartphone or tablet repair: 2 years (preferred)
• Computer repair: 2 years (preferred)
• Game console repair: 2 years (preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (required)
• Quickly diagnosing repair issues.
• Mobility is an asset, as technicians may be shuffled across our multiple locations.

Other Considerations:

• Ability to perform micro-soldering repairs.
• Ability to diagnose device issues and perform complex board-level troubleshooting

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Thompson, MB R8N 0M2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
