Description
Acme Concrete Contracting (Métis-owned), Winnipeg MB. Full-time, permanent. Start right away. Pay: $32-$42 per hour depending on experience (more for lead hands). Benefits after 3 months. Overtime available. We form City spec sidewalks, garage pads, footings, foundation walls, grade beams, pile caps, steps and curbs.
Duties
- Build and strip conventional forms (plywood, lumber, stakes, snap ties)
- Set and string-line forms to grade and layout
- Place rebar and embeds
- No Doka or Peri experience needed. We want hands-on site forming.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of concrete forming experience in Winnipeg or the prairies
- Own basic hand tools
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Safety-minded, on time, able to start early on pour days
- City of Winnipeg sidewalk spec or lead hand experience is a plus
