The company: Penner Oil has been in business for over 30 years as a wholesale distributor of petroleum products. The primary business of the company is sales and distribution of gasoline & diesel fuel and oil products in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and northwestern Ontario. Our customers are mostly rural, and range from service stations, bulk fuel dealers and farmers, to First Nation gasoline stations on outlying reserves as well as urban reserve stations. This is a great, diverse workplace with many long-term employees. This is an entry level position with the opportunity to grow within the company, we like to promote and train our staff to be the best they can be. The workload is very diverse and gives you something new to do everyday. Job Type: Full time, daytime hours including weekends as needed (during peak season), overtime as required.
Duties
Primary tasks: · Wash/Detail semi-trucks, trailers, tankers, and light duty vehicles · Refuel vehicles · Clean and maintain facility · Yard upkeep Other tasks: · Parts pick ups/drop offs · Painting · Filling drums with fuel · Lawn maintenance and snow clearing · Assist the mechanics · Other duties as they come up
Qualifications
Requirements: · Class 5 license, with an acceptable driver’s abstract · The job location does not have access to public transit; therefore, applicants must have reliable transportation. · Capable of medium to heavy lifting · Take personal ownership of tasks and foster a team environment · Organized and able to prioritize multiple projects at once Assets: · Detailing experience · Class 1 or 3 license · Forklift experience · Skid steer experience
