Camp Attendant (Housekeeping) – Remote Camp located in Bissette MB. Shuttle service to and from camp is provided with pick up at the Forks Bissett, Manitoba (1911 Gold Camp) Full-Time | 14 Days On / 14 Days Off | Camp-Based Role Company: Expeditors Plus Reports To: Nicole Rebeck, President Compensation & Benefits Hourly Wage: Competitive (based on experience) Overtime: Paid after 160 hours per 28-day cycle Competitive pay starting at $20+ per hour, depending on experience and education. 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation Access to Wi-Fi, laundry, gym, and recreation areas Private room with Jack-and-Jill bathroom Opportunity to work in a supportive team environment Opportunity to gain experience in a large-scale camp culinary operation All meals and accommodations provided Travel to and from site from designated pickup location in Winnipeg via shuttle
Duties
Key Responsibilities
- Launder and orgaGeneral Cleaning & Maintenance
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors in hallways, dining areas, and recreation spaces
- Clean and disinfect public washrooms (toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors)
- Restock supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels)
- Remove garbage and follow proper disposal procedures
- Follow all health & safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Perform deep cleans during staff changeovers (linens, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming)
- Conduct light daily cleaning for occupied rooms
- Refresh unused rooms prior to re-occupancy

- Maintain dry rooms, mechanical areas, hoist areas, and shared workspaces
- Clean gym and recreation hall (floors, equipment, washrooms, garbage)
- Maintain outdoor areas (entrances, cigarette disposal, stairs clearing)
- Respond to resident requests and concerns professionally
- Report issues to Camp Manager Attendant promptly
- Complete daily cleaning checklists and task logs
- Assist in kitchen operations if required, including:
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Maintaining food prep and kitchen cleanliness
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or camp experience is an asset
- WHMIS certification required
- Ability to work long hours in a remote camp environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
