Description
We are hiring Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance Labourers to work with a maintenance crew to keep outdoor living spaces looking their best. This role involves hands-on work in an outdoor environment, operating landscaping equipment, and ensuring high-quality maintenance of residential and commercial properties.

Duties
- Assist with landscape constructions
- Weed, prune and trim trees and plants
- Cut grass
- Rake and collect refuse
- Remove litter and garbage
- Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
- Lay sod or seed
- Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
- Apply fertilizers
- Repair and maintain equipment
- Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
- Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Reliable transportation to our shop location in Headingley, MB.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and work with hands for long periods of time.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to listen to and follow instructions from supervisors.
- A team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (dusty, hot, wet, or cold).
- Comfortable working weekends when required based on weather and schedule.
