You can become the hero of getting things where they need to go—safely, smoothly, and on time. If you’re skilled with a flatdeck and a semi - this could be your next great move. This full-time position typically operates Monday to Friday, all year round (not seasonal)
Duties
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units
- Deliver precast concrete to construction sites from our two plants
- Perform vehicle inspections, utilize e-logs and complete delivery paperwork
- Verify load securement before transport and check loads during transit (yard staff typically load and secure, but drivers must understand securement and adjust/secure when needed)
- Communicating with dispatch and logistics teams to keep things running smoothly
- Following safety procedures—because we like our team and the travelling public to be safe!
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 with slack adjuster
- 2+ years experience in professional driving of tractor-trailer units
- Possess and use smartphone device
- Flat deck experience is an asset
