Description
UME YUMMY, located at 2615 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, MB is seeking to hire 1 full-time permanent Chinese Ethnic Food Cook for a shift, day and/or evening. $18.00 per hour for 30 hours/week Candidates must have a minimum of 3 year full-time or equivalent part-time experience preparing Chinese Ethnic Food. Completion of secondary school is an asset, but not a requirement. Candidates must be reliable and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Duties will include:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods of Chinese cuisine, including but not limited to Shou Mian, Shangdong Braised Noodles, Jiao Zi, Har Gao, Xiao Long Bao, Bao Zi, Wontons, Gao Dian, Su.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Maintain a clean kitchen, and work area.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling food.
- Order supplies and equipment.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Work with specialized cooking equipment.
