Looking for a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic. (1) Truck Transport, (1) Automotive), (1) Heavy Duty Equipment
Duties
- Working in heavy duty shop on transport equipment.
- Road calls for field work.
- Perform preventive maintenance checks and servicing.
- Facilitate safety inspections.
- Repair/replace equipment when appropriate.
- Assess equipment to see if they require to be sent out for repair.
- Recognize and report faults or malfunctions on all company equipment.
- Coordinate with other maintenance staff to determine priorities for equipment repair.
Qualifications
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Valid Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
- Must live in Thompson, MB or be willing to relocate to Thompson, MB
- A combination of apprenticeship Level 3 and experience may be considered.
