Our in-house team handles design and manufacturing, ensuring strict quality control. Job Description: We are hiring a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting metal components and structures according to precise drawings and blueprints. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with metalworking expertise. Responsibilities:
- Analyze engineering drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Select the correct materials based on the project needs.
- Construct and lay out reference points, patterns, and templates for accurate cutting and assembly.
- Plan the task sequence to ensure effective and efficient metal cutting and shaping.
- Set up and use heavy-duty machinery such as shears, presses, CNC equipment, and grinders for tasks like cutting, bending, and forming metal.
- Assemble metal plates and sections using welding, bolting, riveting, or other methods to form structures or components.
- Rig, hoist, and move materials to and from work areas, ensuring safe handling and storage.
- Install the fabricated components into the final product or structure.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in metal fabrication or similar work is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use metalworking tools and machinery.
- Experience with equipment like shears, presses, CNC machines, grinders, and welders.
- Understanding of different metals and how to work with them.
- Skilled in welding, bolting, riveting, and assembling metal parts.
- Ability to work with precision and follow specifications.
- Ability to fix issues that arise during fabrication.
- Able to lift heavy materials and handle physical tasks.
- Efficiently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
- Clear communication with team members and supervisors.
