The Forks Market Eco Team Seasonal Position: May-September, 2023 $16.55 hourly (includes base wage + tips) Commuter benefit also provided. The Forks North Portage Partnership is looking to expand our team with friendly support staff who share a love of our community and who truly care about the visitor experience. Duties
- Provide assistance to and educate the public about The Forks and engage in warm conversations with visitors
- Maintain a clean and organized environment and provide assistance to custodial and bar teams
- Change full garbage bins on the patio and in the Market
- Support with sorting dishware/garbage/compost at indoor and outdoor sorting stations
- Clear and wipe tables in the Forks Market and on the patio
- Arrange furniture according to seating plan
- Transport dirty dishes to the dish pit for washing
- Stock and distribute clean dishware for tenants and glassware for bar team
- Identify issues/concerns on site and report them via Microsoft Teams app
Qualifications
- Able and eager to work in a very fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Strong customer service and communication skill
- Able to work weekends, holidays, and late night
- Full time, open availability from May-September
- Ability to work 8 hours on your feet, indoors and outdoors; in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cooler temperatures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
