Description
The Forks Green Team Seasonal Position: May-September, 2023 $16.55 hourly (includes base wage + tips) Commuter benefit, cell phone allowance, and footwear allowance also provided. The Forks North Portage Partnership is currently looking to expand our Green Team with energetic individuals who enjoy working outdoors and who truly care about the visitor experience. These folks will work closely with our Site Maintenance Supervisor to ensure our visitors walk into a clean, green, and welcoming space at The Forks. Duties
- Outdoor patio setup including rearranging furniture, sweeping, garbage removal, pressure washing, etc.
- Disposal of waste, recycling, and compost
- Turf maintenance
- General ground maintenance duties as assigned
- Answering questions and offering assistance to the public
- Identify issues/concerns on site and report them via Microsoft Teams app
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable with push mowers, trimmers, and using hand tools
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holida
- Full time, open availability from May-Septemb
- Ability to work 8 hours on your feet outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions including heat, rain, and cooler temperatures
- Ability to ride a bicycle in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds consistently throughout a shift
- Easily adaptable to a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
