Type of experience: Intercity bus driver Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses: Class 2/2F/C License (buses with more than passangers) Transport /travel information: Valid driver’s license
Skills:
- Operate buses, school buses or streetcars to transport passengers;
- Provide passengers with information on fares, schedules and stops;
- Collect fares and record transactions;
- Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents;
- Load and unload vehicles;
- Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures;
- Complete logbooks and reports;
- Deal with difficult passengers and resolve conflict;
- Communicate with passengers, dispatchers or other drivers using two-way radio systems;
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
