Informal:

• Drop-In: this program offers drop-in based group classes Monday through Saturday and focuses on developing essential English skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing for everyday use – from interview skills, writing a report, to getting ready for the Citizenship exam, and to celebrating Canadian Holidays.
• e-Volunteer: this program ensures that newcomers a) receive additional one-on-one language support from TESL certified volunteers and b) receive settlement support including career development from qualified volunteer permanent residents or Canadian citizens.  Each volunteer works with a newcomer for up to 40 hours.
• Self-Study: this online program is for those who prefer to study on their own and have access to resources 24/7. TESL certified instructor support is available.
• Settlement Information:  English Online offers free access to a repository of more than 500 tips and guides to help newcomers navigate life in Manitoba in their first years. These tips and guides cover 12 themes that are considered priorities for a successful settlement in Canada.

Formal:

• LINC Home Study: this program is for those who benefit from one-on-one formal language instruction (due to a shift work schedule, lack of childcare, or other reasons supporting one-on-one instruction). Qualified newcomers work with TESL certified instructors on developing their English skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing for academic and employment purposes.
