• Professional development opportunities and support available for new teachers

The session will also explore employment options available while pursuing certification, highlight professional learning opportunities for IETs, and share inspiring success stories from teachers who have navigated the journey. Whether you’re just starting or are in the midst of the process, this webinar will provide practical advice and resources to help you succeed in your teaching career in Manitoba.

The session is facilitated by Sherry Jones, Staff Officer with the Manitoba Teachers’ Society. As a former teacher and school leader, Sherry currently work with MTS to advocate for and support IETs. With experience in supporting educators through the certification process, Sherry has worked closely with IETs to provide guidance on professional learning and teacher employment opportunities.
