As part of Tech Manitoba’s Tech Week, Manitoba Start is hosting the following course to increase digital literacy and improve technology use across Manitoba.

Note: This is a basic computer course.

Emails, Social Media & Privacy (7 hours)

Course Outcomes:

• Define the main uses of today’s emails
• Explain the difference between common email dangers
• Explain the difference between social media and social networking
• Identify popular platforms used today and distinguish the differences
• Describe the different attacks people fall victim to
