3. Champion Award 2015: Advancing Internationally Educated Professionals in Manitoba
The Champion Award is presented to an organization on the cutting edge of advancing newcomer and business success in an area related to the year’s theme.In 2015, the Champion Award recognized a distinguished organization for its contributions to the advancement of highly skilled newcomers in Manitoba. The winner is an advocate for newcomer employment and promotes the advancement of newcomers who are in pursuit of careers commensurate with internationally acquired skills, education, and experience.

Commitment to this cause is demonstrated through initiatives such as mentoring, bridging, and workplace training to support career advancement of newcomers, while benefiting local businesses in need of skilled employees.
